A caricature is a portrait that exaggerates or distorts the essence of a person or thing to create an easily identifiable visual likeness. In literature, a caricature is a description of a person using exaggeration of some characteristics and oversimplification of others.

• More than 17 years of working experience in the areas of Illustration (both Traditional and Digital), Concept Design, Background Painting, 3D Texturing and some Modeling.
• I´ve worked for different companies in the areas of Graphic Design, Advertisement, Publishing, Post-Production, Animation and Videogames
• From 1996 I’ve had a career of Freelance Illustrator
• Currently, I’m working in a Videogames company called Behaviour Santiago (before Wanako Games) a division of Behaviour Interactive (Canada)
• But from now on, I’ve decided to focus my efforts in new professional challenges around the world…

• Ryan Nore – an American developer and designer living in Austria

Developing applications for over 11 years made him a bit rusty in design. Looking at his great caricatures and illustrations we believe Ryan is on the right place to become a great illustrator – again! Positive attitude is definitely his main ‘weapon’ and we also liked his point of view about his art :

It’s a matter of expression, passion or whatever. It is just something I have to do. Like breathing! So, I just put everything that comes to mind on “paper” and share it. I know a lot of my stuff is not interesting to some people, but I also know there are others that it touches in some way. And that’s cool when that happens. It is like someone finally understands something you are saying.
