Hello everyone, I just wanted to show you my last digital painting...this is a tribute to a very old movie, but one of the best science fiction films of all time (and one of my favourite ones too). I´m talking about "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (1951). Few years before this movie, the modern age of the UFOs (1947) began, so I guess, at that time this film could be absolute amazing and disturbing, the story of an extraterrestrial (even messianic) called Klatu and his giant robot Gort, that comes to the Earth to bring us a message of peace and an ultimatum too! I wanted to represent the final scene of the movie when Klaatu (Michael Rennie) gives his warning speech.Painter. 2011 I hope you like this tribute to such iconic movie... Best Regards

I have to recognise I had never been fan of the comic superheroe Captain America, but after I saw the last movie about the character I had to put away my prejudice. Also, I felt that it would be fun to represent him through a painting. So, here is a caricature/portrait of Captain America regarding the recent movie... Painter.2011. I hope you like it! Following with the Lost stuff... I want to present to you the best character (my personal opinion) until the last season... He is Desmond Hume. I have to say, as a fan of Lost, that he has played a very important role in the best episodes of the series. Here is the great Desmond with his particular style and pose. Following with the Lost stuff... I present one of its best characters, one who once was a good, dreamer, sad, fearful, tender and pathetic man. He is John Locke... But, after the fifth season we knew that he became the opposite of who used to be! Here is the new Locke with his particular style and pose. I present to you an actor famous to perform one of the bad guys of the Golden Age of the cinema. He is more recognizable of being the opposite character to Errol Flynn in those classic "swashbuckler films" of the thirties. He is the great Basil Rathbone. Actually, he was an expert swordsman, but almost always he had to lose the fighting since he used to play the evil character. Also, he played the famous Sherlock Holmes in the forties.
